Click AAC is an experimental Augmentative and Alternative Communication app developed by researchers from the School of Information Studies at McGill University, Canada.

Click AAC automatically generates a page with vocabulary symbols based on the content of the input photograph. Users can utilize the computer-generated speech by selecting these symbols, following the standard practice in AAC systems.

The app offers customizable options for generating vocabulary:

Descriptive: Includes phrases and words that describe the content of the photo.
Related/Related expanded: Provides words with specific relationships to the elements in the photographed scene.
Narrative: Offers phrases and words commonly used in personal narratives related to the scene captured in the photo.

Click AAC allows extensive customization:

Users have the flexibility to remove undesired vocabulary items, make edits, add new words and phrases, and rearrange photos and vocabulary symbols.
